The Gunners have scored some sensational goals at their new ground since 2006 – but which were the best? GOAL selects the top 20
The Emirates Stadium has been Arsenal’s home for 16 years now.
There have been plenty of highs and some real lows since the Gunners left Highbury behind in 2006.
The Premier League title may have alluded Arsenal since their short trip across Islington, but one thing that has not been in short supply is sensational goals.
GOAL has picked out 20 of the best Arsenal have scored since making the move to their new home…
Gilberto Silva vs Aston Villa, 2006
This may not have been the most spectacular goal, but it is one that’s gone down in history.
Arsenal were trailing 1-0 to Aston Villa when Theo Walcott’s cross bounced into the path of Gilberto Silva at the back post.
The midfielder took aim and drilled a thumping finish into the top corner, scoring the Gunners' first-ever competitive goal at Arsenal’s new home on the opening day of the 2006-07 season.
A goal that will never be forgotten.

This was Eduardo at his finest. Arsenal’s masterful finisher, doing what he always did best.
When watching in real time, most people – either in the stadium or at home – were initially unaware of just how good this goal was.
It wasn’t until the reply showed just how exquisite Eduardo's deft outside of the foot volley was that they realised how special a goal they had just witnessed.
Thierry Henry vs Leeds, 2012
"He may be cast in bronze, but he's still capable of producing truly golden moments."
A goal that no Arsenal fan will ever forget.
Thierry Henry had just come off the bench for his second Arsenal debut following his loan move back to the club from New York Red Bulls in 2012 when Alex Song found him with a pass.
The legendary Frenchman took a touch and placed a trademark finish into the far corner to create a truly spine-tingling moment.
Henry couldn’t control himself in the celebrations that followed and nor could anyone who was lucky enough to be inside Emirates Stadium.
A truly magical goal.
Robin van Persie vs Everton, 2011
This was Van Persie at his very best.
He and Alex Song formed a formidable understanding during the 2011-12 season and this goal was the perfect example.
In what had been an otherwise drab game, the pair combined to devastating impact to score the goal that won Arsenal the game.
Song’s ball over the top was excellent, but the left-footed volley from Van Persie, without breaking stride, was simply sensational.
