The Liverpool star forward was left out of Klopp's starting line-up during the Reds' 2-2 draw with West Ham and as he was being brought on in the second half of the game, Salah was spotted arguing with the German manager. New footage shot by beIN Sport has now revealed that the bust-up started after the Egyptian winger turned down Klopp's customary handshake and hug, which left the outgoing Liverpool manager perplexed and angry.

Liverpool looked all set to challenge for the quadruple until the end of the season, however, a run of bad form has seen them make a shock Europa League and FA Cup exit at the hands of Atalanta and Manchester United, respectively. They have also lost ground in the Premier League title race with Arsenal and Manchester City and look set to finish third. This may have been the catalyst for the growing dissatisfaction between the duo and led to the rather public bust-up.

With the German manager set to leave the Merseyside club this summer, the club will be hoping that the duo will be able to patch things up with them having been pivotal to all the recent success the Reds have undergone.
