According to a report by SPORT, the Brazilian winger intends to ask for a pay rise. He is currently one of Los Blancos' highest-paid stars, and is on the same terms as fellow superstars Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham. Under contract until 2027, Vinicus wants to extend his deal until 2029, in return for a substantial hike in his wages.

It's unlikely that Florentino Pérez will cave to his demands, despite wanting the player to stay at the club. Rumours of a €1 billion (£840m) offer from Saudi Arabia will likely intensify. Real Madrid would consider a transfer fee in excess of €250m (£209m/$273m). If Vinicius forces the club's hand, it is believed they will pursue the services of Wirtz or Williams.
