Inzaghi is reportedly one of the names being considered as Klopp's successor at Anfield, after the German announced he would be leaving Liverpool at the end of the 2023-24 season. However, the move is unlikely to happen after the latest developments regarding the Italian's future were revealed.

According to Inzaghi is keen to stay at Inter for the foreseeable future after constructing a squad that he believes is capable of competing for silverware for many years to come. His current deal is set to expire in 2025, although new terms are expected to be negotiated that will increase is salary dramatically from the €5.5 million (£4.7m/$5.9m) he is currently on annually.
WHAT INZAGHI SAID
Speaking on his future at the Nerazzurri recently, Inzaghi said: "I'm happy here at Inter, I feel good with board and fans. About my contract, we're gonna meet after this season to discuss the extension but the relationship is really great. Talks will be good."
